From Scattered to Scalable — Why I Built The Missing Company

Hi, I’m Sumaita Kabir — a strategist, storyteller, and builder by nature.

Before founding The Missing Company, I spent years helping businesses grow from the inside: analyzing data, building models, developing systems, shaping brands, and navigating chaos behind the scenes. On paper, I had the degrees, the job titles, the spreadsheets, and the “success.”

But I kept seeing the same pattern:
Brilliant founders burning out.
Brands with vision but no structure.
Businesses scaling in the wrong direction.

And in my own way, I knew that feeling too, working hard without full alignment, building without the clarity or systems to make it sustainable.

The Shift

Like many of the people I work with now, I was ambitious but stretched thin. I could grow someone else’s business, but my own ideas stayed scattered, half-finished, and stuck.

I realized: it’s not that founders lack ideas.
It’s that something is missing in the middle.

So I left corporate.
I trusted my gut.
